My father has been making his own home-made wine since he retired. He was printing some very basic black and white labels from his home printer, so I decided to have some fun and design some beautiful labels for him, inspired by our family’s most distinguished pets.
Mon père fabrique son propre vin maison depuis qu'il a pris sa retraite. J’ai décidé de lui créer des étiquettes, qui portent le nom des animaux de compagnie les plus distingués de la famille.
Olive is an elderberry wine, named after the energetic Border Colli / Burnese Mountain dog. Joyously fruity upfront, with an embracing aftertaste that won't let go. A wine for all occasions.
Banu is a sauvignon blanc white wine, named after the angelic blue and white parakeet. Adorably sweet yet highly energetic. Best served with fish, pasta or cheese.
Jake is nebbiolo red wine, named after the regal tuxedo cat. Full-bodied, with mellow aromas and a generous bite at the finish. To be accompanied by fatty dishes, cured meats or slow-roasted pork.
Gus is an amarone red wine, named after the monstrous Burnese mountain / Golden Retriever. Bold and spicy aromas that you cannot miss, with a comforting and cuddly finish. Enjoy with rich foods and stews.
